This street garden is a good example of using a monochromatic color scheme made interesting with texture.
A gorgeous late March display of flowers. Though I loved the abundance of flowers, the Evergreen Clematis will eventually weigh down the limbs of this Magnolia, and will shade out it's leaves causing the tree harm. A slower growing clematis would be a better choice.
I love this stone wall and the small classic container. This photo taken at the end of March is a good example of how a mixed border can really extend the season. The blue flowers here are Omphalodes which prefer a shade or rock garden.
What a great way to utilize a parking strip on a quiet street. These raised beds are covered in copper which is a deterent for slugs so great for a vegetable garden. These beds have built in irrigation and trellis for climbing plants.
Close up of cheery blue Ompholodes. There are very few flowers with this highly sought after true blue.
This garden has a nice combination of herbs and grasses that are fairly low maintenance. Sage and low growing time are in the foreground.
This garden has two intersecting paths of different materials which I find interesting and creative.
Great planting of Mahonia, Blueberry and backed with Mock Orange. Great looking even in January.
